In the Garden

He was filthy, his hat was all crooked but he was a happy little boy! Here he is being silly.

We were cleaning the garden at the end of the day and Justin sat down right in it and started to eat the green beans that were left. He's been eating green beans for 3 months (becasue they grew like crazy!) so I guess he really enjoys them!

Fall Fun

It was a really beautiful place. Here's a little of what we saw.

The colors in the forest were really awesome.

We saw this porcupine during our hike. It scurried up the tree when it saw us. Yogi got quite excited.

Justin was in a really good mood and spent most of the day laughing.

Even though he got up at 9:00 this morning, Justin fell asleep on the way.

It was a beautiful fall day today so we went for a hike. We were walking for a few hours. Justin was intrigued when we took out the backpack.

It's the first weekend since I went back to work that we haven't been sick or ended up at the hospital so we decided to do a little something special and spend some time as a family.

14 months old

Justin has a cold again and hasn't been breathing well for the last 2 days so I brought him outside. The cool air seems to clear his airways. I was doing some weeding and found him sitting in the sandbox. Wespent almost 3 hours outside and he didn't say a word.

He thought that was hilarious.

I was cleaning this morning and got a little distracted and when I came to check on Justin, he was in the dryer!

I know, I know, I have been a slacker with the blog but there's been no time. Yannick has been gone for the past 2 weeks so it's just been Justin and I and very little time. Justin turned 14 months old on Thursday so I wanted to post a few pictures.

Update

Not the best picture but here we are going off to daycare.

Justin found his way to the sound system. I didn't get there in time but he was actually dancing to the music. He had a busy day and was in bed early. We put the kids to bed and continued to have some fun.

The two of them are always kissing and hugging each other. I think there might be something there when they get just a little older...

One little boy brought his Flash McQueen tricycle and Justin fell in love with it.

Here is a picture of Justin and Juliette having their supper (Juliette is the little girl who lives in front). They were really excited to be sitting next to each other and laughed the whole time. Yogi was hanging around. I think they were both supplying some food!

We had a corn boil in our street this weekend and here are a few shots of the kids. They had a lot of fun.

Sorry! No updates lately. I am now back at work and as you can imagine, I have less time to play around on my computer. I went back on August 24th and things went smoothly for 2 days. Then we ended up at the emergency room in the middle of the night for laryngitis. Then we got the stomach flu and then a cold. All this within 2 weeks. Oh yes, and Justin started walking and teething amongst all the mayhem! He now has 1 tooth and 2 on the way! As a result, noone is sleeping very well. It was a great back to school gift for me!

Justin is adapting well to daycare and seems to love it there. My guilt disappeared the morning he waved bye bye with a smile. I think he really enjoys it there and that's a relief for me. Here are a few recent pictures. It is hard to get good picture of Justin now so they aren't that great. I guess it's another phase!
