November

This is what our tree looks like this year. It looks a lot better without the flash. After a few broken ornaments on Sunday morning, Justin understood that he couldn't touch the tree.

Justin is showing interest in things and wanted to help when I was making muffins this weekend. He calls them "gateaux".

We put up the tree this weekend and decorated the house and as in the 2 previous years, Justin loved this greeting Santa. He lugs him around and has to kiss him goodbye when we leave in the morning or when he goes to bed. I even found Justin trying to tie Santa's laces this week.

Justin loves to help me with laundry. When he knows I'm in there, he turns the garbage can around and helps out. I never showed him that and he came up with it on his own when he saw that I used a little stool.

This is what Justin chooses these days when we go for our walk. Grandmaman got him this last year but he was too little to hold on. This year, he holds on just fine.

Justin was really excited when we got our first snow. We wemt out to play with Juliette and Antoine and he had lots of fun.

Suit and painting

I bought some paint a few weeks ago and I painted with Justin yeasterday. He really liked painting. This morning. he asked over and over again until we finally took it out. Here are a few pictures.

Mom sent me a suit for snowmobiling and we tried it on this morning. It looked really nice on Justin and should fit for 2 years. He was very excited.

Trick-or-Treating

Justin thought it was funny when we first put him in the trailor.

Justin after trick-or-treating for almost 2 hours. He was happy and in a really good mood. Then he had to look at all his candoes and taste a few. He really got into it this year.

Since the houses that give treats are few and far between, Luc and Yannick decidd to take our lawn tractor and drive the kids around to avoid carrying them. They went all out and decorated the trailor. Needless to say, the kids were very excited.

Our Halloween decorations this year. We usually decorate more but we were lazy this year. We got a lot of compliments on Lightning M'cQueen.

Halloween 2010

I know it's been a while. I tried posting pictures last week and it wasn't working. Here are a few pictures of our pumpkin this year. We stole the idea from Ka and Kevin. Justin got right into it and helped Yannick empty the pumpkin. Then he went to bed and we surprised him the next morning with Lightning McQueen! He was very excited. It turned out well.

Apple Picking 2010

After apple picking, we stopped at the parc close to Nanna and Papou's. The kids had lots of fun.

Justin's favorite part was the tractor ride of course. Jyaden hopped on the second time but Chloe refused to get on.

I went to Qc last weekend because Yannick went hunting and it was a beautiful day so we went apple picking. Here are a few pictures.

Fall 2010

Justin kept getting close but the pony we weren't supposed to because the pony bites. Try explaining that to a 2 year old!

The cat was very calm and stayed put when Justin was petting him. Justin was very excited because Yogi runs away when Justin even comes close.

Justin and Juliette like eachother a lot and are very excited when they are together.

Elisabeth and I went to Metabethouan a few weeks ago. There is a little petting farm and a maze in the cornfields. The kids had lots of fun and slept all the way home.

Here are a few pictures taken during the month of September.

This and that again

We let him out of the backback and he walked a little. Soon, he will be following!

It was finally cool yesterday so we went for a short hike near our house. Justin still loves to be in the backback.

Justin loved to water the plants this summer and here are a few shots of him doing it last week. He was actually quite helpful.

Justin is starting to be interested in things now and helped Yannick make pancakes for the first time this weekend.

One of Justin's favorite things- playing with the car keys. Here he was holding both our sets and he was holding my key on my set and Yannick's key on his.

Big boy bed

While I was trying to finish, Justin was jumping up and down on the bed. He was very excited.

I kept the rocking chair there for now since we still use it daily.

Here's Justin at bedtime. He went to bed without a word the first night. He was really proud of his big boy bed. Yannick both went up to tuck him in and we made a big deal out of it.

Yup, I finally took the big step. A few tears were shed. First it was the pacifier, then the bottle and finally the crib. It's official. I no longer have a baby. There were a few adjustments at bedtime but Justin seems to be adapting fairly well.
