On the ball!

Jeez, 2 posts in the last few weeks!  I'm on fire!  Here are a few pictures of things we've done recently.

We spent the weekend at a cottage in the Monts Valins a few weeks ago with Melissa and Francois.  The kids had a ball after a da on the 4-wheelers.

 

The boys had fun with the bunk beds.

 

Justin learned about pets at daycare and they made collars and headbands.  Here he is pretending he is Yogi.

Auntie came to visit a few weeks ago and the kids wrote their letters to Santa.  They all got involved this year- even Miss Addisson.

Justin was painting some ornaments for his cousins.  He was really proud of them. 

We set a trap to try to catch an elf tonight.  We'll see if it worked in the morning.  I had to wait in line for 30 minutes yesterday to get one.  They are the big thing in the Saguenay this year.  People are going nuts!  we left chocolate cookies in the trap because that's what they like.  After they are captured, they play tricks during the night...  To be continued.

Halloween 2012

Justin was very excited this year.

Justin wanted Iron Man this year because that's the costume he chose.  Yannick really wanted to do Spiderman but we don't get to choose!  More pictures of Halloween to come....

Oops... Update again

Yes, yes, I`ve been a slacker.  Here are a few pictures of the past 2 months.

It was raining and Justin really wanted to go out so he put his rain suit and went out in the rain.  He loves doing this.

Justin was helping Papa make Auntie Melinda`s wedding cake.

Sanding the deck.  Justin did this for about an hour and took it very seriously.

Grandpapa was exposing the tractor he made the other day at an exposition in the Saguenay. I don`t have to tell you that Justin spent the entire weekend there.  He was in tractor heaven. 

He rode a pony.

And fed the animals.

And saw tons of John Deere tractors.

He rode Grandpapa`s tractor around the site about every hour.  He did it all by hinself.

Thr set up.

We went to the Festival Forestier in Shipshaw a few weeks ago.  There were ``les hommes forts`` competitions.  Here is the strongest man in QC, Hugo Girard.  Justin was really impressed with the muscles!

Of course, he found a tractor to get on!

We went apple picking and pumpkin picking last week while we were in Qc.  The kids had a blast this year and could pick the apples themselves.  They especially liked climbing the trees.

There was a big maze in the cornfields but we never found our way out!

Justin started swimming lessons yesterday and loved it. I didn`t think he would go in without me but he didn`t even look back!  I think he will be fine in kindergarten.  He was actually really excited to be in the water without floaties and did not listen very well.  All he wanted to do was swim around!

Yannick went hunting last week and killed a moose again.  Justin was going around saying `mon papa a tuer un orignal`until he got back.  He was really excited. 

We went to see Atchoum yesterday as well.  It was the opening of the junior hcokey season.  There were blow up games and a show. Justin still loves her. 

Whale watching

We went whale watching in Tadoussac a few weeks ago and we saw lots of whales.  It was really fun.Justin was really excited to be on the boat.
