17 months old

Already 17 months old (It seems I say that every month!). It's been a busy few weeks and we are looking forward to some time off. Here is a good picture of Justin in front of the tree.

Christmas Tree

We put our tree up last weekend. Justin was mesmerized by the lights. It wasn't as bad as we expected. This is pretty much how he walked around for the first few days- holding 2 balls. Let's just say I didn't put any of my breakable ornaments this year!

Outdoor Wear

Here is Justin in his favorite new spot- in front of the fireplace. We just started lighting it because we were so scared he would burn himself. Surprisingly, he looks but doesn't touch. He walks around saying bobo becasue we repeated it over and over again.

I got Justin some warm long johns and he wore them today to go outside. He was really cute!

Justin's new thing

Justin started climbing up on chairs last week. He's really proud of himself and finds it really funny. Something else to watch out for ! It just gets better and better!!!

16 months old

Justin had a fever for a few days and we finally went to the clinic yesterday and he has a double ear infection. The doctor said he's pretty tough because other than his fever, he didn't say a word. He was just extra quiet and slept a lot. He will be on antibiotics for 10 days and then he should be as good as new. He stayed home with us for 2 days but should be feeling well enough to go back to daycare tomorrow. He was obviously feeling a little better today because he was playing again. Here he is on the 4 wheeler that Grandmaman gave him this weekend when we went to visit.

New things

Justin wouldn't go down for his nap this afternoon but quickly fell asleep when we went to run errands. I ran into Costco and when I got back, Justin, Yogi and Yannick were all sound asleep.

Just being silly. Justin was actully laughing -not crying!

Justin likes to sit on things now and when he plays, he always looks for something to sit on.

Justin started getting up on the table this week and when I came in the living room yesterday, he was dancing to the music on tv. It was really cute. He stareted showing a little more interest in tv this week and seems much more alert.

2nd Halloween

I thought this was a cute picture. They looked at their candy when they got home! Justin got in the bath when he came in and was asleep within 10 minutes. Yes Ka, he did go an hour past his bedtime for Halloween!

They were all out for an hour and a half and came back with rosy cheeks and smiles.

Yannick went out while I stayed home to give out the candy. Juliette, Antoine and Luc also went trick-or-treating.

Here I am with Justin sporting my thematic shirt for my favorite holiday!!! Anyone who knows me knows I hate Halloween!

Elisabeth, our neighbor, lent us this costume. Justin thought the whole thing was really funny.

Before Justin went trick-or-treating, we gave him a lollipop. Let's just say her really enjoyed it!

Here was Justin ready to go to daycare. I took the time to take a picture at 7 am! They had a party but Justin didn't participate much this year. Next year should be better.

Cuteness

Justin also loves the swiffer. I caught him and his dada cleaning together last weekend. Justin is really starting to imitate evertthing we do.

Justin loves to play with our car keys. Here he is acting silly.

Isabel and I went to get some pumpkins for our classes two weeks ago and Justin came along. He seemed to enjoy it.

15 months

Our neighbors came over today for a visit and we went to pick the potatoes in the garden. The kids had lots of fun digging them out. They were filthy but happy!

Already 15 months. I was cleaning the house today and found Justin emtying the cupboards. Again! That seems to be his new thing this week.

Just cute

Justin loves sitting on the counter when we cook. Here he was having a little snack this afternoon.

We stopped to say goodbye to Grandmaman and Grandpapa before coming home this morning and I thought this was a cute shot. Justin loves anything and everything that has wheels!

Pumpkin Picking

We sat the kids on some haystacks and they didn't move! It was hard to get a good picture of all of them so this is the best one.

There was a maze in the corn fields. It was really muddy because of the rain so next year, we'll wear rubber boots. They'll all be walking next year and it should be even more pleasant.

It was freezing but we decided to go anyway. Despite the cold, the kids seemed happy. Next year should be more pleasant since they will all be running around.

I wouldn't have done this if Chloe had been around but I put her robe on Justin when I took him out of the tub. He wasn't wearing a diaper and thought the whole thing was quite hilarious and was running around everywhere.

Off to daycare

Justin gets all excited when I put him on the bench to get dressed. He thought it was really funny!

Nanna got this outfit for Justin before he was even born and I just wanted to show her how cute he looks in it. I caught him as we were leaving for daycare.

In the Garden

He was filthy, his hat was all crooked but he was a happy little boy! Here he is being silly.

We were cleaning the garden at the end of the day and Justin sat down right in it and started to eat the green beans that were left. He's been eating green beans for 3 months (becasue they grew like crazy!) so I guess he really enjoys them!

Fall Fun

It was a really beautiful place. Here's a little of what we saw.

The colors in the forest were really awesome.

We saw this porcupine during our hike. It scurried up the tree when it saw us. Yogi got quite excited.

Justin was in a really good mood and spent most of the day laughing.

Even though he got up at 9:00 this morning, Justin fell asleep on the way.

It was a beautiful fall day today so we went for a hike. We were walking for a few hours. Justin was intrigued when we took out the backpack.

It's the first weekend since I went back to work that we haven't been sick or ended up at the hospital so we decided to do a little something special and spend some time as a family.
