Stomach flu

Happy New Year! For the first time ever, Justin caught the stomach flu at daycare. He was really sick and we spent the weekend doing laundry and cleaning up vomit. Justin spent almost 48 hours in our arms without moving. Tonight, we were able to give him some Tylenol and it stopped the fever and perked him right up. He was still really ready for bed at 8:00. We'll see how the night goes! Hopefully, neither of us will catch it.

New Year's Eve 2010

There was a hill in the parking lot and the kids had a little fun climbing up before we went home.

For the first time in 12 years, Yannick and I spent New Year's at home. Yannick had to work this year and we couldn't make it home. Karine, Kevin and the kids decided to come for the night. We had an early sushi supper and then went to see the fireworks at the ski hill. Jayden loved them, Justin didn't cry but wasn't sure and Chloe sobbed the entire time. The fireworks were really nice and the kids had fun anyway.

Christmas 2010

Justin was comfortable enough to get his first haircut! He refuses to go the hairdresser's so I asked Josée to cut it. He didn't say a word.

It took Justin a little while to adjust at Matante Josée's since he doesn't see them that often but after a little while, he was fine and had fun.

Boys will be boys! Jayden loved to open all the presents no matter who they belonged to!

Thank God we bought the boys a lot of the same toys because there would have been some conflict!

Opening gifts at Nanna's and Papou's. Justin could have received 1 truck for Christmas and would have been satisfied. He wasn't much interested in opening the rest unless it was an even nicer truck.

Chritmas morning milk. The kids slept until almost 9:00 so we got really lucky.

Watching a movie in Doreen's room. That lasted about 2 minutes. They were really good and didn't sleep until we went home around 1:00. Justin was really tired and fell asleep in Nanna's arms around midnight.

The kids played with Chloe and Jayden's new toys. There was a lot of supervision required since they tend to fight more now.

We were busy during Christmas. We went to Doreen's on Christmas Eve, Mom and Papa's on Christmas Day and supper at Matante Josée's that evening. Justin was really good the first few days and then got tired of seeing people. He was really happy to see his cousins and spend some time with them. Karine took him to her place for a few afternoons and he was thrilled. We had a really nice Chritmas. Here are a fe pictures of all of it.

We went to an indoor park while in Quebec. The kids had a lot of fun and were surprisingly, really brave!

I bought a night table while in Qc for Justin's room. Justin went to get his new power tools when Yannick was putting it together.

As everyone knows, Yannick loves to wear goggles when he works and Justin loves to steal them and put them on. Here are a few shots.

We had the Alcan Christmas at the beginning of December. Justin went in all the inflatable games and was pretty brave when it came to sitting on Santa until he actually got to him. Yannick had to sit with him but at least he didn't cry! Santa gave him a big bag of candy do he really liked him after that. He had lots of fun. I forgot my camera so one of the other mommies took pictures and e-mailed them to me.
