Catching Up

Justin and I made oatmeal cookies this morning and he was really excited. When they came out of the oven, he had to go show Papa right away (Papa was still in bed but he was so proud I couldn't stop him!)

Justin loves to look at pictures and always takes his albulms out of his night table. He knows them by heart but still likes to look at them.

On the snowmobile.

It was quite steep so Justin and Juliette preferred to roll down.

Despite the cold last weekend, we went sliding with Juliette and Antoine. We drove there on the ATV and the snowmobile and Justin was delighted. Here he is climbing the "montagne" with Papa.

Juliette came over for a few hours last week and when I put them down for their nap, they wanted to be in the same bed. They laughed for a few minutes and then went right to sleep. I had to wake them 2 hours later because it was Juliette's birthday party. Justin had a ball at his first "friend" party.

Justin loves to help bring wood up. I got a picture of him doing it last week. He is always so proud- he said "regarde Mommy!"

Odds and Ends

Justin loves to help in the kitchen now. Here he is helping Papa make some chocolate pudding.

The helmets were left in the entrance after a ride yesterday and Justin walked around with his for an hour.

Justin really likes to paint. This is a picture of him doing it when he had fever and was not feeling well because of his ear infection.

Jonquiere en Neige

We had pizza with Juliette, Antoine, Luc and Elisabeth on Friday and then went to the carnaval to see the ice sculptures, fireworks and do some skating and sliding. The kids had a ball.

4 roues

Justin wants to go on the 4 roues constantly. Last weekend, we went for an evening ride sporting our new Ganka gear. I didn't get a shot of Yannick becasue it was -20. Here are a few pictures.

Sliding

A few weeks ago, we went to Alison's for an afternoon of sliding. Justin liked the sliding but he loved the ski-doo that drove us back up. Once he understood that you could go up on the ski-doo once you went down, he really got into it.

Stomach flu

Happy New Year! For the first time ever, Justin caught the stomach flu at daycare. He was really sick and we spent the weekend doing laundry and cleaning up vomit. Justin spent almost 48 hours in our arms without moving. Tonight, we were able to give him some Tylenol and it stopped the fever and perked him right up. He was still really ready for bed at 8:00. We'll see how the night goes! Hopefully, neither of us will catch it.

New Year's Eve 2010

There was a hill in the parking lot and the kids had a little fun climbing up before we went home.

For the first time in 12 years, Yannick and I spent New Year's at home. Yannick had to work this year and we couldn't make it home. Karine, Kevin and the kids decided to come for the night. We had an early sushi supper and then went to see the fireworks at the ski hill. Jayden loved them, Justin didn't cry but wasn't sure and Chloe sobbed the entire time. The fireworks were really nice and the kids had fun anyway.
