Bumbo seat

Auntie Ka lent Justin Chloe's bumbo seat. It helps babies hold their heads up. Even though Justin is only 3 months, he's really good at holding his head all on his own. Here he is doing it and not looking too happy about it!

My new cousin

Justin lost his place as "baby of the family" this week when his new cousin Jayden was born. We thought Justin was little but compared to Jayden, he's huge!

First time apple picking

This is pretty much what Justin did all afternoon. We didn't hear him at all. He should be able to appreciate the experience a little more next year!

Here is Nanna, Chloe and Justin relaxing after an afternoon day outside.

First Thanksgiving

We went to Auntie Ka's for Thanksgiving turkey. Justin thought it was funny when I put his Thanksgiving bib on.

Chloe really likes Justin and is always kissing him- even when he doesn't feel like it! When he cries, she gives him his pacifier. Hopefully, she will like her new brother just as much.

Our first Thanksgiving as a family.

Visit to Quebec with Mommy

Just tired form all that shopping Mommy and Auntie made me do!

Chloe can't quite figure out what to do with Justin. She doesn't understand why he won't play with her and why her mom holds him all the time.

Pappy was the designated rocker when we visited. When Ka and I wanted peace for a minute, we used Pappy.

Mommy's 30th birthday

Isabel took care of Justin while Papa and his friends got things ready for my surprise party. Justin was really good for her all day- better than he is for me!!

Justin was all bundled up to go in the tent outside. He slept while we had our méchoui.

Justin and Chloe.

Grandmaman rocked Justin until he fell asleep.

Fall 2008

I wanted to put this picture up because I wanted Aline and Aunt Chris to see the outfit they gave Justin. It looks really nice on him.

We were just outside in the yard on a Saturday afternoon. It was really cold but Justin was warm and cozy in this "nid d'ange' that I got him.

Justin doesn't keep his blanket on at night so I got him this sleeping bag (Ka gave me the idea of course!). It's great.
Getting ready to go out for our daily walk again.

Jutin is all ready to go run errands with his mommy in a little outfit that Auntie Ka gave him.

Sandy lent me her swing and like the vibrating chair, it gives me a few minutes of peace! Justin really loves it.

Justin really enjoys baths now- that is until we take him out of the warm water at which time he starts to screech!

Now 11 weeks old, Justin is really awake. He really enjoys the play mat that Auntie Ka lent us.

Festibouffe

In the middle of September, we went to the Festibouffe in Petit Saguenay. It was a 9 course meal and lasted for hours. The music ws blaring but Justin was really good and slept through most of it.

First camping trip

Here is Justin with Papa around the campfire at night.

Justin was watching us have our breakfast. Once again, he looks too serious.

During Labour Day weekend, we went camping at L'Anse St Jean with Isabel, Jacques, Delphine and Camille. Justin was a really good boy and slept through most of the night.

First hike

We all went for a hike in the middle of August and Justin seemed to love it. He slept the whole time and had his bottle of milk up on th top of the mountain. He did it like a real champ!

Summer 2008

This picture was taken on one of the last days of summer. It was about 30 degrees and we were spending some time outside. As usual, Justin looks a little grumpy! He is p;utting on some weight and I think he looks kind of chubby now.

Justin and I were getting ready to go for our daily walk and he didn't look too thrilled.

Here is a picture of Justin after his bath. He looks like a little angel but looks can be deceiving!

Matante Marie-Eve and Unle Jeff gave Justin a vibrating chair as a present but I think it was a gift for Mommy and Papa. It keeps Justin entertained and gives us time to do other things!

Back to the hospital.

Grandmaman and Grandpapa drove up from Quebec to see Justin on the day he was admitted. They had to go visit him at the hospital.

Justin's doctor was a little concerned about his weightloss when we left the hospital and asked us to come back the next day to get him weighed. Unfortunately, he had lost more weight and they told us they were keeping him. They thought he might have an infection and put him on antibiotics. Finally, it wasn't an infection. I had been breastfeeding and Justin wasn't getting what he needed so he got dehydrated. He was in the hospital for 4 days. When he came home again, he was all healthy again and Mommy and Papa were all rested up.

Hospital and coming home

Here is a picture of Justin after his first bath on the night he got home. He hated his first bath and screeched the whole time. I was quite disappointed since I do spend half my time in the bathtub!

Here we are finally on our way home.
