Justin's arrival

I was scheduled to be induced on July 18th but my water broke the night before I was supposed to go to the hospital to be checked out. I didn't know that my water had broken (I was still a little clueless...) and when I got to the hospital for my check-up, I was 5 cm dilated and they told me I would not be going back home. Me being me, I had not brought my bags with me and had not yet made arrangements for Yogi.

Finally, Jutin was born at 6:28 pm after 6 hours of labor. He weighed 7.24 ounces and measured 19 inches.


Here is Justin just a few minutes after he came out. There were complications at the last minute and the doctors had to use suction and forceps but they were happy that there wasn't too much damage to his head.
Here is a picture of Papa and his little boy after they brought him back to our room.
Even when he was a few hours old, Justin was wide awake and alert.
